They say if you want to be the best, beat the best. On the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision tour as of late, that has meant finding a way around the red No. 32.
Bobby Pierce is putting together another season for the history books, with the end goal of a second World of Outlaws championship looming on the horizon. The last three years have been a dream for the Oakwood, IL native, and he doesn’t plan on waking up anytime soon.
Let’s dive into the numbers behind Pierce’s record-setting run:
11 – Pierce’s World of Outlaws win tally on the year following his double-up at Arrowhead Speedway. That makes 2025 the third-straight season in which he’s reached the double-digit mark, putting him alongside Darrell Lanigan (2012-2014) and Brandon Sheppard (2017-2020) as the only drivers to accomplish that feat.
42 – the number of wins in his career with the Series, tied with Billy Moyer for fifth on the all-time list. What’s most impressive is the pace at which Pierce has reached that number, as he was still trying to win his first World of Outlaws race only four and a half years ago. Five other drivers have eclipsed 42 wins (Sheppard, Lanigan, Moyer, Josh Richards and Shane Clanton), but none of them got there as fast as Pierce.
32 – Pierce’s win percentage with the World of Outlaws in 2025. As if winning roughly a third of the races you enter against the toughest Late Model competition in the nation wasn’t good enough, Pierce still has work to do to match his past two figures of 36% in 2023 and 34% in 2024.
5.0 – his average finish through the first 34 races of the season. While Pierce may not be going to Victory Lane quite as often this year, he’s taken a step forward in consistency, as he’s on pace to beat his previous two averages of 5.3 in 2023 and 5.7 in 2024.
24 – his number of Heat Race wins on the year, already more than either of the past two seasons. A driver’s chances of finishing up front increase considerably when they start there, and Pierce has earned that privilege with more early-night speed than ever. All of those Redraw appearances have led to a career-best average Feature starting spot of 5.4, compared to 6.4 in 2023 and 5.7 in 2024.
18 – the number of consecutive top 10s Pierce strung together earlier this season, with no finishes worse than seventh between the Federated Auto Parts DIRTcar Nationals finale in February and the opening night of the NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 on Fourth of July weekend. That’s the longest streak of his World of Outlaws career in that category.
108 – Pierce’s lead in the points standings following his Arrowhead Speedway victory. That’s the exact same margin Pierce had over Chris Madden on the same date in 2023 before he went on to hoist the trophy at World of Outlaws World Finals as a first-time champion.
4 – the win streak Pierce carries into the next stops on tour at Needmore Speedway (Friday, Sept. 12) and Senoia Raceway (Saturday, Sept. 13). It’s his longest of the season and the second-longest of his career, with two more wins needed to match his run of six in a row between Deer Creek Speedway and Cedar Lake Speedway last summer. That’s tied with Lanigan’s six-win streak in 2012 as the longest in World of Outlaws history, meaning three more consecutive victories would give Pierce sole possession of that record.
10 – the number of different tracks Pierce has won a World of Outlaws race at this year, with Arrowhead being the lone place he’s conquered more than once. Of those, eight of them were tracks he had never won at before with the Series, including several facilities outside his Midwestern comfort zone in states like Tennessee, Georgia, Pennsylvania and Oklahoma.
29 – Pierce’s total number of wins across the Late Model world in 2025, more than any other driver in the country. He’s one win away from hitting 30 for the third-straight season, and his pace is right in line with the past two years. His 29th win of 2023 came during World 100 weekend on Sept. 8, and he reached that mark last year on Aug. 21 at Lernerville Speedway.
39 – his overall win percentage this season, higher than his past two marks of 36% in 2023 and 37% in 2024. If Pierce can keep picking off trophies at that rate through the rest of his planned schedule, a final tally in the high 30s is within the realm of possibility.
Pierce and the rest of the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision will continue the 2025 campaign at Needmore Speedway (Friday, Sept. 12) and Senoia Raceway (Saturday, Sept. 13). For tickets and more information on all remaining events in 2025, click here.
