As the temperatures continue to rise, so do the stakes for the World of Outlaws Real American Beer Late Model Series presented by DIRTVision.
The July calendar includes eight nights of racing across four tracks in four states, with two massive purses on the line.
Here’s a look at what’s ahead:
Deer Creek Speedway | NAPA Auto Parts Gopher 50 (July 3-5): Dirt racing’s biggest Fourth of July celebration is back and bigger than ever in 2025.
This year’s edition of the Gopher 50 features three full programs of World of Outlaws racing, culminating with a $50,000-to-win main event on Saturday night. In addition to the on-track action, fans will also get to enjoy live music all weekend long, fireworks on Saturday night, driver autograph sessions and a fan zone with games and activities for the whole family.
The southern Minnesota facility returned to the schedule in 2024, with Bobby Pierce taking home the big money on Saturday night. Ryan Gustin and Tim McCreadie are also on the list of former World of Outlaws winners at Deer Creek, but they’ve all got a long way to go to match Darrell Lanigan’s six victories at the track.
In addition to the Series regulars, fans can expect to see the likes of Billy Moyer, Shannon Babb, Boom Briggs, Tyler Erb, Kyle Bronson, Tyler Bruening and many more chasing a Gopher 50 win on Independence Day weekend.

VIDEO RECAP (July 6, 2024):
Sharon Speedway | Battle at the Border (July 11-12): Once the show wraps up at Deer Creek, the Series will make the tow east to Sharon Speedway for the final stop of a jam-packed four weeks of racing.
The two-night Battle at the Border will mark the fifth-straight year that The Most Powerful Late Models on the Planet will visit the eastern Ohio facility. Sixteen races have been held at Sharon since the first season of the revitalized tour in 2004, but no driver has won there more than twice – Pierce, Gustin and Chris Madden each hold that title.
If the winner’s purses of $12,000 on Friday and $15,000 on Saturday aren’t reason enough to circle the event on the calendar, it’s also the final race weekend before the Prairie Dirt Classic, making it crucial to leave Sharon with a head of steam.

Fairbury Speedway | Prairie Dirt Classic (July 25-26): Illinois loves their Late Models, and there’s no Late Model race Illinois loves more than the Prairie Dirt Classic.
Each July, the small town of 3,600 people becomes the center of the dirt racing universe for a weekend. At the end of it all, one driver will get to make the ceremonial drive to the bank with the $50,000 check in hand as the newest PDC champion.
Last year, Pierce pulled off a last-lap pass on Nick Hoffman to finally join his father as a winner of his home state’s biggest race. In addition to the Pierces, the list of PDC champions is a who’s who of superstars – McCreadie, Moyer, Babb, Dennis Erb Jr., Brandon Sheppard, Kyle Larson and Jonathan Davenport just to name a few.

Wilmot Raceway | Wilmot Late Model Showdown (July 28): In between the PDC and the USA Nationals the following weekend, the Series will make a stop at Wilmot Raceway in southeast Wisconsin for some Monday night action.
The World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Cars have held more than a dozen races at the track over the past 20 years, but Wilmot will be hosting the Late Models for the first time next month. However, the DIRTcar Summer Nationals paid a visit to the 1/3-mile earlier this season, and more than half a dozen Outlaws were in attendance to build their Wilmot notebooks. One of them was Drake Troutman, who drove his No. 22* to his second Hell Tour win in five days.
